What’s been happening:

I graduated from PSU in the Spring of 1967. By that October I was in training to become an officer in the United States Air Force. I was assigned to a base in Ohio for my first three years, then sent overseas to Thailand for the last year. Discharged as a Captain, I found myself struggling to enter the workforce during the recession of the early 1970s. My big break came in the form of a job offer with a management consulting firm headquartered in Baltimore, MD. Over the next 35 years I continued my career in consulting, working for a small number of consulting firms and a large number of clients, both domestically and overseas. Now (March, 2009) I am semi-retired with some investments to manage and a farm in the country near Charlotte, NC. On the farm I operate a bird hunting preserve and keep some hunting dogs and a couple of Tennessee Walking Horses. All in all not a bad life's story for a kid from New York City who started out with very little except a degree from PSU and a determination to succeed. I owe a great deal to my mother, my university and my God, though not necessarily in that order.
